Escorted vs Independent

Not sure of the difference?2007 Planting

Think of 'escorted' as a trip where someone else does all the planning and all of the work for you! An 'independent' tour means that we book your flights and your hotels (and provide a daily itinerary if you want it), but you make all the decisions and get to take care of the details of each day.
We do not announce details of an escorted tour until we have sought the Lord and feel we have the invitation from Him and the blessing by Him. By the time we announce it, we have already made contact with our team on the ground in Israel, and we have made arrangements for the flights that will carry us to our beloved Holy Land.

From the moment you add your name to one of our packages you become part of a great whole and you will know that traveling to Israel is not just another "check this destination off the list" kind of trip! Prepare for unexplained JOY to bubble up from within!

Right away you will know t2007 Lunchhat the Lord is at the center of our planning, and our prayer warriors will begin praying for you by name. A couple of months before we go, we will gather as a group and spend the day talking out our trip…answering questions, talking through seeming obstacles and confusing scenarios and praising Him for the opportunity. You will receive a study guide, personalized for your trip, and we will talk about food, clothing and the books to read in preparation. The topic of security might come up, and knowing in Whose hands our true security rests, we will answer questions honestly and openly, from a point of experience but never as an ultimate authority.

We will eat and we may sing, but we will surely end our day more excited about our divine invitation than when we first gathered!

On our departure day, we will meet in our gateway city and fly together, and we will spend our journey of faith together, seeking Him in all things. At most places we visit, our Israeli guide and dear friend will give a historical introduction, followed by a meditation that links the site, scripture and our lives together.

We will visit places that you know from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) all over Israel, as well as New Testament locations in and around the Galilee. We will visit 3 port cities and dip our toes in 4 bodies of water (fewer on some tours), we will sing from the mountaintops and laugh in the grottos. We will feast on the produce of the season and we will worship in places where little else would be appropriate. We will shop, we will learn, and we will meet the precious people who live in a land that was once foreign to us.

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up My banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and your daughters on their shoulders'."  Isaiah 49:22

2007 JaffaIf you prefer an independent package, we will plan as little or as much as you need, and you will certainly feel the wonder and the thrill of walking the ancient streets and alleyways as you make your way from border to border. We will confirm your hotels, suggest sites for each day and provide daily guides when needed. We will even recommend places to have meals along the way.

You will find examples of itineraries we have used and that we can arrange when you click here, but we never list everything; we love to surprise our guests with special stops along the way!
