Why Israel?

4000 years go the Lord called a man named Abram and told him to 'leave his country, his people and his father's house' and go to a land He would show him. God promised to make him into a great nation, and trusting him, Abram took his wife Sarah and slowly made their way to the land of milk and honey.

"Come and see what the Lord has done; the amazing things He has done on earth."

Among the writings of Mark Twain, "Concerning the Jews" was penned in 1898 in response to an article written in Harper's Magazine, and the conclusion of the article reads: "If the statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one percent of the human race... Properly the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been heard of... The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other peoples have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now or have vanished.

The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality?"

"For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place."
 - Psalm 132:13

In 2015, 3.1 million tourists visited Israel, 20% of whoIsraelm were American, in spite of economic instability in Russia and Eastern Europe. In the summer of 2014. the Gaza War Operation Protective Edge brought only a 1% decrease in tourism to Israel. A study by the Bank of Israel shows that tourism in Israel typically drops in the aftermath of a major conflict but recovers within a year.

Our country was shaken to her core on 9/11, and leaders from around the world responded with concern, but Israel is the only country -to this day- that includes a list all of the victims and their places of origin, on a memorial built near Jerusalem.

We believe that if you have the desire to go, you have been invited; invited by the same One who invited Abram over 4000 years. Accept the invitation and come with us.
